Rotation

The sun rises and turns the earth into the color of fresh orange juice
As the day goes by, the road we are on is infinite as far as we can tell

We change with the seasons.
We change within the seasons.

We wake up as one person and fall asleep as another.
When our passions change, we change.

It’s the decisions we make that decide which direction we will take.
We live as many different people in one body in one life.

The day shapes us. Society conflicts us.
Real moments never last. We’re living in the past.

Falling for the day, the sun sets in the pink sky as waves crash against the shores of a quiet lake.
These moments will slip away, but in my memory they will stay.
